Great looking salad! I actually made an Asian chicken salad today. I had to hobble all over the grocery store to get the lettuce mix, wonton strips, canned mandarin oranges. I couldn't find almond slices so chopped up 2 tablespoons of walnuts. Turned out great! Yours looks delish

I'm trying recreate a salad I always order when I go to a local restaurant that is only open for breakfast and lunch. I always loved the salad dressing which they serve in a separate dish, about half a cup. I tried to find the salad dressing in grocery stores but never found anything close so assumed the restaurant made it themselves. The last time I went there my friend asked them what the dressing was. I've never seen it in any grocery store but ordered 4 bottles on Amazon. Ken's Steakhouse Asian Sesame (or something similar). It's delicious! I want add avocado next time I make it and maybe the crunchy chow mein noodles although the wonton strips are good 

I love salad 🥗 too! Speaking of Asian style salad dressing, just go to Asian grocery stores if your area has that kind of stores. There’re so many kind of choices. Good luck! 

Fritzy I use that dressing when I make Chinese chicken dressing and don’t want to take the time to make my own.

Kenna,when I read the reviews they said it's also good as a marinade or in stir fry. I may try it next time I stir fry 

Another good brand is Kraft— their ginger sesame or whatever their Asian dressing is called is a good general purpose Asian style dressing. I still prefer to make my own when I have time 

Kenna, I've used the Kraft dressing. I just wanted the same dressing that the restaurant uses. I never thought about trying to make it myself.
