Diario de davidsprincess, 10 may. 19

Down a pound today. 0.4 from my lowest in 3 years. Unfortunately a graduation party, my daughter's birthday and mothers day (which actually I couldn't care less about m-day) will bring it back up again. 🙄 Always something, but that's real life...need to learn how to deal with it. Just planning to still hit the gym for some heavy lifting and pray I can keep it under control calorie-wise at least no more than 2500 today. We'll see. 🤞🙏😬

Keilin- sounds like we are in the same boat. I will pass on your b-day wishes. She just brought cookies to her class and they have a 1/2 day today. Doesn't get much better than that.

How do you know about the chains? Did he share that with you? 🤪jk. Def was happy to see the loss... Especially since I only did half the time in the gym... If even. Excited to see where I'll be in a month. I'm 5'9 so about 200# I start looking pretty decent. Like I said never been below 185 but at 185 I was in a 10/12. You probably aren't super familiar with women's sizes but not being in "plus" sizes was huge for me.

Davidsprincess, we're the same height but we have different builds, and you must be much more fit than I. Even at age 29 and a very fit 165 pounds, I still wore a size 14 ... and looked fantastic! Just five years later, in 1987, I was already losing muscle tone and gaining weight rapidly. At 185 pounds, I wore a size 18. From all these comparisons, age and build aside, returning to some exercise is my next challenge.

Actually, Chris picked out my last formal for a small soiree we we're holding. Very tasteful, beige and gold brocade with a matching jacket.

LOL- You guys crack me up. No- I didn't cut out carbs but definitely the more carbs I eat, the more I want to eat and eat and eat. Not eating the carbs so much definitely curbs the cravings. And like Diablo said- the kids are older and its easier to get to the gym. I really love lifting and I hope I remember that when I don't want to keep going. I did back today it was awesome! Back is probably my favorite gym day- but its hard to choose. Not sure how I know it is different this time- but it is. Also- I pray a lot and I was a huge food addict but I think my prayers have been answered. I joke a lot so that probably sounds like I'm kidding- but I am serious.
