I've had a lot of fruit grown in Spain, while In Germany. Someday I having it right where it grows! We even had Spanish fruit in Russia, and lots of juice from Spain too. Washington state is pretty famous for our apples, and peaches, cherries etc... But, only the berries and cherries are ripe rigbt now.... We are eagerly awaiting other local fruit not just coming from California!!!

Ripe fruit is delicious, isn't it? We are fortunate in Spain to have fresh, affordable produce the whole year through. However, we also import fruit from other countries (Morocco, Peru, Costa Rica). Buying locally grown produce is sometimes more difficult and/or expensive!

Oh it is, Eva! The very best food! We have the same trouble... Imported food either from out of state or country is often cheaper... Seems so crazy. We get lots of local for the next few months, so I am enjoying pounds and will likely gain a pound too!!
