Did you cut out caffeine for all of October too??

Yes, but not on purpose. It just happened that way! I have been jittery all month. Strange!

Hopefully it’ll pass soon, it’s surprising how much caffeine affects the brain. Now I’m reading up on it again and how it boosts dopamine 👍 but I just get the jitters when I drink it 👎

Yes, I thought too much caffeine produced the jitters, not the other way round. Interesting about the dopamine. I have felt kinda low recently.

Hi Anne, well done with your dry October 👏 hope you feel better soon you maybe suffering from Anxiety Anne with you saying about the jitters and feeling low in yourself have a chat with your doctor, high dopamine levels should make you feel on top of the world or it can have an opposite effect making you feel low but I wouldn’t have thought your levels would be that high X

You know Paul, I have 2 projects at work that are stressing me out and my dog has to have an operation soon so I think I am just anxious in general. Once my dog is sorted I will feel better!

I’m sorry you’re feeling low, maybe some extra B vitamins would help meanwhile? I always say that but I do find it helps. Are you sleeping ok? Best wishes to your poorly pup x

Thanks Nutri. Yes, I sleep well and have heard B vits are good for stress. It is just a routine op for the dog but she is 12 now and I worry about the anesthetic. Combine that with the general malaise

She is at the vets now, George. She loves tripe! I have got myself into a right state worrying about her.

I’m sure she’ll be fine Anne, the vet wouldn’t take the risk if they didn’t think she was strong enough. Let us know how she gets on pal x

She is home now. Doing fine, but playing the sympathy card. Eating like a horse!

See, nothing to worry about Anne. They are resilient tykes. Really pleased for you. We’re going to see a Clydesdale yearling next Saturday. Hoping to buy it with my sis. She’s now retired, given up riding, it’s a long way doon off a horse! She’d like to show the Clydesdale. Meanwhile Larry Longlegs is still a hooligan! x

Clydesides are big beasties! Hope it goes well. Yes, dogs are great. I try to follow her philosophy and live in the moment. Nothing fazes her and the best form of defence is attack!
