That was pretty cool of your FIL — sounds like he’s trying to keep things smooth for the sake of his grandchildren. I’ve been dating again, too, but I tend to just pick at my food in restaurants. Dates have been mostly activities instead (I prefer to move around than sit). Have you climbed again?

“Dessert” that burns calories instead of increasing them is my favorite 😉. I dumped the firefighter because it turned out he was dealing with health issues, and that’s a deal breaker for me. The other date is younger and from Pilates class, and we’re going to a botanical garden next Saturday— lots to see and smell 🪷🌻🍄🌿

Haha, yes...everyone should have "dessert" for their mental & physical health. JB, the no go for health problems sounds cold. But I completely understand that for a new relationship.  

I do get some hates from that, but hates and fat make your lives shorter. None of my business neither 😜
