Same for me, two years ago, mine was cancer...the med I take to block estrogen, is making it difficult to lower my weight. I feel so huge after living a life of being the "small one." You will breeze through sooner than you think--then just focus on staying healthy and doing whatever you can proactively to even improve a healthy status!

Praying that God will heal you with a quick recovery. I wouldn’t worry about the gain, it might just be if they pumped you full of fluids during surgery.

Lumpectomy is a better term. DP, please rest and take care of yourself, no matter how hard it is to stay down. If, actually, when that annoying little voice starts telling you that it's okay, just go do whatever needs to get done, please remember to just slap that right out of your thoughts. Nothing is so important that it has to be done right now or can't be done by someone else. I know I have shared this with you before - If you don't take care of yourself, how are you going to be able to be there for your family. Also, remember that you are teaching your daughters how to care for themselves. I apologize if I come across as preachy, that's not intention. I simply want you to honor and care for the person you are, the person God has made you to be and not define yourself solely by what you can accomplish physically. Praying for good results on the 17th. 🩷🙏
